A few days ago, someone in a Telegram group I’m part of sent me a direct message about a platform called BunnyBand.
He was excited.
According to him, he had already “earned” over ₦123,000 and wanted me to join before I missed out. Since it was free to register, he couldn’t understand why anyone would say no.
So I asked him one question.
“Have you actually withdrawn any money yet?”
His answer was simple.
“Not yet. I’m almost at the withdrawal threshold.”
That was all I needed to hear.
At that point, I already had a pretty good idea where this was heading. I’ve watched too many of these “earning platforms” follow the same formula. They make it look like you’re making money, but when it’s time to cash out, there’s always a problem.
So I decided to investigate BunnyBand for myself.
What I found confirmed my suspicions.

What Is BunnyBand and How Does It Work?
BunnyBand sells itself as a “task earning platform.” The idea is simple: sign up, complete small tasks, refer your friends, and collect money. Here is what they promise you:
- A welcome bonus of ₦13,600+ ($10) just for registering
- ₦6,896+ ($5) for every friend you bring in
- ₦2750+ ($2) per task you complete
- Cash out directly to your Nigerian bank account once you hit ₦160,000 ($100)
It sounds like easy money. And that is exactly the impression BunnyBand wants to create.
The tasks are mostly clicking on links and following social media pages. Your balance grows fast; in fact, you can hit ₦13,000 on your dashboard within ten minutes of signing up. But the truth is, that number on your screen is not real money. It is just a figure the website shows you to keep you encouraged and working for them.
The Trap is in the Withdrawal
BunnyBand claims you can withdraw your earnings once they reach the $100 threshold (about N136,000), but this is where the trap begins.
Even after your balance reaches the required amount, you cannot simply cash out. To unlock a withdrawal request, you must complete additional tasks and recruit enough people to fill a progress bar to 100%. Completing tasks alone will never be enough.
They designed this requirement to push users into promoting the platform and bringing in more victims before they discover the truth.

Once your account balance reaches the withdrawal threshold and you attempt to cash out, many users report that their requests remain stuck on “Pending” indefinitely. Despite the numbers shown on the dashboard, you will sadly not receive any money.
Eight Things That Confirmed My Suspicion
I ran BunnyBand through every check I know, and it failed all of them. Here is what I found:
No Verified Payment Proof Exists. I spoke with people who referred more than 30 friends, completed every task, and hit the withdrawal threshold. All they got was a permanent “pending” status. There is no verified payment from BunnyBand anywhere online, not even from the Telegram guy who tried to make me join.
2. The Money They Promise Makes No Business Sense. Think about it — where would BunnyBand get ₦13,600 to pay every single person who signs up? No advertiser pays that much just for creating an account. Real task platforms like SproutGigs pay between ₦70 and ₦500 per task because that is what the market actually pays. ₦3,200 for clicking a button does not exist.
3. The Domain Is Only a Few Months Old. BunnyBand.com was registered in March 2026. A site this new, making these kinds of promises, with no track record? That alone should stop you. Legitimate earning platforms have been around for years and have thousands of verified user reviews.
4. ScamAdviser Gives It a Low Trust Score. ScamAdviser, one of the most reliable tools for checking websites, has flagged BunnyBand as high risk, giving it a very low trust score. Two separate antivirus tools also flagged the site: SOCRadar marked it as malware risk, and Gridinsoft marked it as suspicious. Your phone and your data are at risk when you visit this site.
5. No Company Name, No Address, No Owner. Go to the BunnyBand website and try to find out who owns it, where they are based, or how to contact them. You will find nothing. A real company that is paying people real money will always tell you who they are.
6. It Is a Copy of Other Scams That Have Already Come and Gone. BunnyBand follows the exact same pattern as HunnyBand, Hunnystack, Hunnyme, Hunnycash, Buzzbread, and at least ten other platforms that Nigerians were promoting just months ago. Same dashboard, same referral mechanic, same promises, just a different name. All of them disappeared without paying anyone.
7. They Are Collecting Your Personal Data. To register, BunnyBand asks for your email address, phone number, and bank account details. Multiple people on Trustpilot have flagged this as data harvesting. Your details could be sold to spammers or used for phishing — where someone calls pretending to be your bank.
8. The Positive Reviews on the Site Are Fake. Every testimonial on the BunnyBand homepage talks about smooth withdrawals and happy payments. But check Trustpilot — 278 real complaints as of the time of writing, rating of 1.5 out of 5. The positive stories on the site were written by the same people who built the scam.

But despite all of this, the platform is still spreading. Why?
That is exactly how the scam is designed to work. The referral mechanic means every person who joins is automatically motivated to recruit their friends, because on paper, you earn almost ₦7,000 for every single person you refer. So the platform spreads itself for free. The people promoting it are not lying on purpose. Most of them genuinely believe they will get paid. They just have not tried to withdraw yet.
By the time people realise the money is not coming, the platform has already collected thousands of phone numbers, email addresses, and bank details, and has gotten enormous traffic that it monetises through ad clicks.
If you are still sharing BunnyBand referral links, please stop. You are not just wasting your own time; you are pulling your friends and family into a scam. The people closest to you will remember that you brought them in.
What Should You Do Right Now?
If You Have Not Joined Yet
- Do not. There is no version of this where you get paid.
- Send this article to whoever shared the link with you. They need to know the truth too.
- If you see it being promoted in a group, flag it so others can see a warning.
If You Have Already Signed Up
- Stop referring people immediately. Do not bring anyone else into this.
- Do not enter your bank details if you have not done so already. If you have, monitor your account for any unusual activity and contact your bank.
- Change the password on any account where you used the same email and password combination.
- Watch out for strange calls or messages. If someone calls claiming to be your bank or a financial institution, be very suspicious; your number may have been sold.
- Report the platform on Trustpilot so others can find honest reviews when they search.
BunnyBand is Fake — Full Stop
I know it is hard to hear, especially if you have already invested your time and referred people you know. But the evidence is clear and overwhelming. BunnyBand was built to take your data, use your referral hustle to grow its traffic, and disappear, just like every other platform in this series before it.
The ₦13,600 welcome bonus is not real. The ₦6,700 referral reward is not real. The balance on your dashboard is not real. And the withdrawal? It is never coming.
If you want to earn real money online, there are legitimate platforms that actually pay, but none of them will put ₦13,000 in your account within ten minutes of signing up. Real online income takes real work. Anything that promises otherwise is almost always a scam, and BunnyBand is no different.
Stay safe. And please share this post with anyone you know who is still promoting this platform.
